From a Dream to a Dental Clinic: Guccident Equipment Supports Clínica Dental Lesly in Chile

A long-term customer story about complete dental clinic equipment, safe delivery, regulatory documentation, and responsive support from China to northern Chile
Clínica Dental Lesly in Taltal, northern Chile, as the team approached the final stage of installation and health authorization.

For Dr. Marco Arredondo, building Clínica Dental Lesly was more than opening a new practice. The clinic in Taltal, a small city in northern Chile, represents a professional dream and a tribute to his sister, Lesly. Turning that vision into a working dental clinic required equipment, international logistics, technical documentation, and patience with local authorization procedures.
Guccident first began working with Dr. Arredondo in 2023. Nearly three years later, when Chile’s health authority requested additional autoclave documentation, the relationship was still active—and the Guccident team responded with the manuals, test report, declaration of conformity, and quality-management certificate needed to help the clinic continue its approval process.

The project: sourcing essential equipment for a new dental clinic

At the beginning of the project, Dr. Arredondo explained that he wanted to purchase the essential equipment required to set up his clinic. Guccident worked with him to assemble a practical package around one dental unit, with supporting equipment including an air compressor, intraoral imaging equipment, sterilization equipment, a scaler, curing equipment, handpieces, and other clinic essentials.
Because the clinic was still developing, the purchasing plan had to balance clinical needs with the available budget. The order was refined through repeated discussions so that Dr. Arredondo could begin with the equipment he needed first and expand later as the practice grew.

From China to northern Chile

International dental equipment procurement involves more than choosing products. Shipping documents, packing information, certificates, customs coordination, and local installation can determine whether a project moves forward smoothly. Throughout the order and delivery process, Guccident maintained direct communication with the customer, provided production and shipping updates, and prepared the documentation requested for customs clearance. The equipment arrived in Chile in excellent condition. After receiving the shipment, Dr. Arredondo thanked the team for its work and described Guccident as excellent professionals. In a later update, he confirmed that the dental chair was operating without problems.

Support that continued years after delivery

The strongest test of an international dental equipment supplier often comes after delivery. In July 2026, while Clínica Dental Lesly was completing the health authorization process with Chile’s Regional Ministerial Secretariat of Health (SEREMI), the authority requested manufacturing and pressure-test documentation for the clinic’s autoclave. Guccident responded the same day with a Spanish manual, product catalogue, factory test report, declaration of conformity, and quality-management certificate. The customer confirmed that the documents allowed him to continue the authorization process and thanked the team for sending them quickly.

“Everything arrived in excellent condition, and the dental chair is working perfectly.”

A clinic with a personal meaning

By July 2026, most of the clinic installation had been completed and the project had entered the final stage of health authorization before patient care could begin. Dr. Arredondo explained that Clínica Dental Lesly is both his dream and a tribute to his sister. That personal purpose can be seen in the clinic’s identity, from its name to the message displayed at the entrance: every smile has a story. He also shared that he was very satisfied with the purchase and hoped to return to Guccident for additional dental equipment once the clinic was operating. For Guccident, that intention to continue the relationship is meaningful evidence of trust built through product performance and responsive support.

What overseas dentists can learn from this project

This Chile dental clinic project highlights four priorities for dentists buying equipment internationally: define the essential equipment around the clinic’s real workflow; confirm electrical and technical requirements before production; prepare shipping and customs documents carefully; and choose a supplier that remains available when regulators or technicians request information later. A competitive product price matters, but long-term value also depends on communication, documentation, and after-sales response. Clínica Dental Lesly’s journey shows how a supplier and dentist can continue solving practical issues together long after the original shipment has arrived.
